ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY
Adwoa Theresa is committed to making www.adwoatheresa.com accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies or experience visual, auditory, motor or cognitive barriers.
Accessibility is treated as part of the website’s design, structure and continuing development.
2. SCOPE
This statement applies to www.adwoatheresa.com, including its public pages, digital programmes, music and audio presentation, member-access areas and purchasing journey.
External websites and services linked from this website are governed by their respective providers and may have their own accessibility provisions.
3. ACCESSIBILITY APPROACH
The website is being developed with reference to:
• the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA;
• the European accessibility standard EN 301 549 where applicable; and
• the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) where applicable.
These standards are used as an accessibility objective. This statement does not represent a claim that every page or third-party component has already achieved complete technical conformity.
4. MEASURES TAKEN
Measures being implemented include:
• clear page titles and heading structures;
• consistent navigation and page organisation;
• readable typography and sufficient text sizing;
• appropriate colour contrast;
• keyboard-accessible navigation wherever supported;
• descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;
• decorative images excluded from assistive-technology output where appropriate;
• clearly labelled links, buttons, forms and interactive controls;
• layouts that support browser zoom and different screen sizes;
• avoidance of unnecessary flashing or rapidly moving content;
• user-controlled audio without forced autoplay;
• visible play, pause, progress and volume controls where supported by the audio player;
• plain and understandable purchasing information; and
• ongoing review of desktop and mobile presentation.
5. AUDIO AND MUSIC
Sound Works are provided through user-controlled audio players.
Music does not begin automatically. Visitors decide when playback starts and may pause or stop it through the available player controls.
Where audio contains spoken informational material, a written alternative or transcript will be provided where reasonably necessary. Purely musical works are identified by title and supporting descriptive information.
6. CURRENT CONFORMANCE STATUS
The website is currently being rebuilt and has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit.
We therefore do not currently claim full conformity with WCAG 2.2 Level AA or EN 301 549.
Accessibility is being reviewed as pages, programmes, audio works, payment functions and member-access features are completed.
7. KNOWN LIMITATIONS
Some functions are supplied through Wix or integrated service providers and are not entirely controlled by Adwoa Theresa. These may include:
• member account and login functions;
• checkout and payment interfaces;
• subscription-management functions;
• audio-player controls; and
• embedded or externally linked content.
The accessibility of these components may vary depending on the provider, browser, device and assistive technology being used.
Some content or controls may not yet offer an optimal experience with every assistive-technology combination. Identified barriers will be reviewed and addressed where reasonably possible.
8. COMPATIBILITY
The website is intended to work with current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile devices.
Older browsers, unsupported operating systems or heavily modified device configurations may not display or operate every feature correctly.
9. FEEDBACK AND ACCESSIBILITY REQUESTS
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, cannot access particular content or require information in a different accessible format, please contact:

11. PREPARATION OF THIS STATEMENT
This statement was prepared on 20 July 2026 through an initial self-assessment undertaken during the website’s redevelopment.
It will be reviewed after material changes to the website and as accessibility testing progresses.
